The Ministry of NHS (NIH) has issued an advisory for the prevention and control of chikungunya viral infection in the country. It started by pointing towards the chikungunya outbreak in Karachi and elsewhere, saying the disease invasive to many parts of the country was identical as dengue fever, which appears four to eight days after a mosquito bite.
